About Forest Bathing

Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku, nature therapy) is a slow, mindful immersion in nature that restores the connection with oneself and the environment through sensory experiences. It is an invitation to slow down, be in silence, and listen to both nature and your inner self. During a forest bathing session, I invite participants for a slow walk where we practice breathing and mindfulness exercises, stimulate the senses, and engage in silence and reflection. Through symbolic actions, the connection between nature and your inner world is strengthened.
Scientific research proves that forest bathing reduces stress hormones, helps calm the mind, improves mood, strengthens the immune system, boosts creativity, and enhances focus, sleep quality, and emotional regulation. The forest bathing sessions I lead are based on modern Japanese methodology, the wisdom of our ancestors, and psychotherapeutic science.
What is useful to bring: comfortable shoes, insect repellent, a camping mat or another seating/lying pad, and water.
The forest bathing sessions I lead last approximately 2.5 hours.
Forest bathing with Liudas was a wonderful experience that helped me relax and recover. Even when quite close to the city center, Liudas manages to find stunning spots of wild forest.

The cycling tour with Liudas was spectacular! He knows the forests of Vilnius perfectly and showed us many undiscovered, highly interesting places. His stories capture your attention and spark a curiosity to dive deeper into the environment you live in.
